This enchanting semi detached period cottage is tucked deep in the countryside, surrounded by farming country in the little hamlet of Woolston.  The cottage is delightfully and comfortably furnished and enjoys a most attractive enclosed garden and provides an ideal base to explore the nearby sandy beaches and glorious coastline of South Devon. Only half a mile from the main Kingsbridge to Salcombe road Orchard Cottage is close to Thurlestone with its fine links golf course and beach; Salcombe with its interesting shops, wonderful sailing and sandy coves and Kingsbridge with its excellent leisure centre, pool, restaurants and pubs. Orchard Cottage is spacious, most attractively presented, a real home from home with an attractive sitting room with an inglenook and wood burner and the kitchen diner is enhanced by a lovely green Aga.

Stable door into spacious sitting room with coir floor covering, a delightful inglenook housing a wood burner, two comfortable sofas, chair and Freeview TV with DVD and library of DVD’s. Spacious kitchen diner with polished wood floor, dining table to seat 6, combination microwave, oil fired Aga with double ovens and twin hobs, dishwasher, washer/dryer, integral fridge/freezer, radio, iPod dock and French door that opens to the terrace and garden. Carpeted stairs to the landing. Lovely bright double bedroom with 5ft bed, garden views, shower and hand basin in an alcove and separate en-suite WC. Bunk bedroom with sturdy 3ft full size bunk beds with a ladder. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds and views over the front of the cottage. Bathroom with bath (separate hose attachment), basin and WC.

Outside:

Accessed from the kitchen and also from the garage, a pretty terrace with table and chairs has stone steps, with wrought iron handrails and railings, that lead up to the very pleasant enclosed lawned garden, edged with shrubs and a couple of seating areas provided with tables and chairs and is a real sun trap.

Parking: Shared driveway in front of the cottage with space for one car and further parking in Orchard Cottage’s garage.
