Let your worries drift away at Riverside, this gorgeous, detached cottage is situated in the idyllic Teign Valley in a tranquil position alongside the river Teign, which flows from the high tors of Dartmoor through beautiful wooded valleys finally ending up at the sea at Teignmouth. In spring the Teign Valley is known for its wild daffodils, which grow abundantly along the river and in the garden at Riverside. This lovely spot on the Eastern boundary of the Dartmoor National Park is perfect for enjoying lazing in the sunshine, paddling in the river and watching the rich variety of bird life. For the more energetic the Teign Valley offers a popular cycling route up onto Dartmoor through Moretonhampstead and is close to Haldon Forest for its walks and cycle tracks. Canonteign Falls, which boasts the highest waterfall in England is a must with its nature and wildlife trails and a visit to Castle Drogo is also recommended. The cottage, set in its own totally enclosed garden gives easy access to exploring the whole of the South West. Riverside is ideal for families or couples who wish to stay in a beautiful riverside location but also want the option of taking part in a wide range of activities. Welcome pack on arrival.
