In the heart of the historic fishing village of Port Isaac, Cornwall sits Sam Billings Cottage, a delightful Cornish holiday cottage full of character and charm, nestled in a tucked away location just a few steps from the harbour. Situated in a row of properties along the aptly named Squeeze Belly Alley, renowned as one of the narrowest thoroughfares in Britain, the cottage is attractively presented and offers comfortable accommodation with a clever use of space, a perfect base for a couple or a small family. Port Isaac offers many breathtaking walks across the dramatic coastline of North Cornwall, has its own beach and harbour and has become well known for its role in the TV programme, Doc Martin, as the fictional town of ‘Port Wenn.' There are a range of delightful boutiques, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants for those who wish to explore the magical narrow streets of this picturesque village.
Accommodation:
Well-equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, built-in electric oven, washing machine, fridge with ice box and dining table to seat four. Living room with sofa, armchair, flat screen Freeview TV and door to small rear courtyard. Small 'L' shaped bedroom with 2ft 6in quarter bunk bed. Stairs up to first floor. Double bedroom with views across the rooftops and 4ft 6in double bed. Bathroom with roll top bath, shower over, hand basin and WC.
Outside: Small, rear courtyard. Private, fenced garden across the path with small lawn and garden furniture.
Parking:
No parking space available, however unloading is possible by the entrance to the alleyway a few feet from the property. Parking is available at the public car park at the top of the village (700 yards), approx. charge £21 per week.
