Stoke Court Cottage sits at the heart of the waterside village of Stoke Gabriel which is a lively and welcoming part of beautiful South Hams in Devon. This attractive Victorian house is thoughtfully and stylishly restored; full of modern comforts and close to the village stores, post office, two pubs, bistro cafe and even the village stocks! Walk along the cobbled lane past the village orchard to the beautiful historic church and churchyard with the 600 year old yew tree and the uplifting views of the Millpool and the River Dart beyond. Paths meander down through the orchard to the banks of the Millpool and the River Dart where you can go fishing, crabbing, canoeing/kayaking, or just sit with an ice cream or coffee on the River Shack cafe/bistro terrace and watch the amazing variety of bird life as the tide flows in and out. Should you decide to explore beyond the village, the glorious Devon lanes will take you on scenic journeys to Dartington, Dartmouth, Salcombe and nearby bohemian Totnes, not to mention a choice of fascinating National Trust and other historical and beautiful properties and estates.

Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, hand basin and WC. Separate shower room with hand basin and WC. First Floor. Double bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite shower room with hand basin and WC. Second double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed. Twin bedroom with two 3ft beds. Cloakroom off landing with hand basin and WC.

Secluded cottage garden terrace for guests’ use with shrubs and flowers and seating and tables for 8, a barbecue and views of the pretty walled garden used by the adjoining owners.
