Not far over the Cornwall border, close to the superb beaches of Whitsand Bay and nestled in beautiful countryside is this attractive, newly refurbished first floor apartment. Furnished in a stylish and contemporary manner, Ty Hanner provides a perfect base for exploring Celtic Cornwall and neighbouring Devon, with the historic port of Plymouth a short drive away. Situated within the parish of St Germans, two miles from the coast and within a mile of a mainline railway station, guests can easily experience the charm of Cornish villages, fishing ports and quiet harbours. There are plenty of local pubs and excellent eating places to sample and those who want to walk off the excesses of the holiday with the dog will find plenty of pleasant local walks. Places of interest include nearby Port Eliot, which hosts the annual Port Eliot Festival and where you can explore the impressive stately home and gardens belonging to the 10th Earl of St Germans, as well as four National Trust properties, Antony House of Alice in Wonderland fame being one. The Eden project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mount Edgcumbe Park and Plymouth's Theatre Royal are amongst many other places to enjoy. Accommodation:

Steps up to front door. Dual aspect open plan living space. Living room with oak wood flooring, leather reclining sofa, 32” flat screen HD TV with Freeview, DVD, hard drive (available to borrow with lots of recent films) and dining table to seat six. Modern kitchen with integrated ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Washing machine and tumble dryer in separate shared utility room. Double bedroom with 5ft king size bed, fitted wardrobes and en-suite washroom with hand basin and WC. Twin bedroom with 3ft single beds (can be linked to form super king 6ft double), vanity unit with hand basin and fitted wardrobe. Family bathroom with bath, electric shower over, hand basin and WC.

Outside: Behind and above the apartment there is a private area of garden set aside for guests’ use with picnic table and benches. Barbecue provided (no charcoal).

Parking: For two cars on shared driveway.
