There is a shop just 100 yards away and Cromford and Crich (3 miles) offer good shops, cafés and restaurants. The Heights of Abraham cable car and High Peak cycle trails are under 5 miles, Chatsworth and Carsington Lake for water sports are both under 10 miles.
