Warren Point Cottage
Warren Cottage originally a large house is now divided into two and is situated in an absolutely outstanding and unique position on the waters edge at Warren Point opposite Noss Mayo. For those looking for an adventurous and outdoor holiday on the water this is an ideal property. The views are totally spectacular, particularly from the half mile unmade farm track with gates that lead down to the cottage. There is an 11ft rowing boat for the use of guests at their own risk (lifejackets not provided). The property is comfortably but simply and practically furnished and also has its own boat house (shared with owners). An evening row across the estuary to reach the waterside pubs in Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers can be great fun, but watch the tide! This is truly a lovely setting and the cottage has wonderful scenic views over the water from most rooms. There is no TV reception.
Accommodation:
The property is mainly situated over the boat house, and is therefore on the first floor. Dual aspect south/east facing open plan room divided by an archway. Sitting room area with fireplace inset with electric wood burner, small sofa and armchairs, stripped pine floor with rugs, French doors to balcony overlooking the estuary. CD/cassette player. Kitchen/dining area with pine dresser, table and chairs, fitted kitchen, electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, (no washing machine). Double bedroom 4ft 6in with ample hanging space. Twin bedroom (3ft beds) with basin, (no hanging cupboard). Both bedrooms have a chest of drawers. Bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC.
Outside:
Areas of lawn and garden. Fairly steep grass footpath leads to the cottage (50 yards).
Parking: Beside the gate at entrance to property (100 yds).
