There is excellent local walking and cycling on quiet lanes in the glorious wolds countryside towards Louth and Market Rasen. Caistor, 1 mile, has shops, cafes, supermarkets and takeaway food amidst its Georgian streets. The huge stretches of sandy beaches on the east coast are within 10 miles, Fisheries Museum , Seal sanctuaries and Humber Bridge 10 miles; Lincoln ,with medieval cathedral and castle and lively riverside scene is 20 miles. Village pub 400 yards.
