Cragside Cottage | Cragside Cottage is located on the site of a former, traditional, Lakeland hill farm, Greenah Crag, in the lee of a rocky outcrop from which it takes its name. A sympathetic barn conversion, with open roof beams and part exposed stonework, the accommodation offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Overlooked by the peaks of Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Blencathra and in close proximity to gentler but equally beautiful lakesides, walking and climbing are available on the doorstep. Whatever your interests; biking, sailing, wildlife, natural history or simply relaxation, the area around Cragside is crammed with activities for all the family. Located in a secluded but accessible location Cragside is ideal for exploring the North Lakes, Eden Valley, North Pennines, Border Country and Hadrian's Wall. The M6 Motorway is 8 miles away, Keswick 10 miles away and Ullswater 6 miles away.
This property offers 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and a bathroom on ground floor level. The first floor comprises of an open plan lounge and kitchen (approx 11m x 5m), benefitting from stunning views of the surrounding area. The first floor includes an additional toilet/shower room. There is a south facing patio area to the rear of the property. short breaks available until 26th March 2010 | | | | |
