The village is near the end of the famous Corrieyairack Pass (leading to Loch Ness), Ardverikie Castle - 'Glenbogle' in TV series 'Monarch of the Glen' - lies on the southern shore of the beautiful Loch Laggan, 6 miles from the village. Close to golf, pony trekking, fishing, walking climbing, Wolftrax mountain bike centre and is within the Cairngorm National Park, or why not begin the Whiskey trail at Dalwhinnie (7 miles).
