Nelly's Cottage

	Two ground floor Alston Stone cottages on a working hill farm, offering access and facilities for disabled guests.(disabled shower and WC in both cottages ) Nelly's Cottage and Alice's Cottage are adjoined with a stone archway which leads to a covered courtyard with garden area and patio - ideal for bird-watching and summer barbeques. Garden furniture is provided and this area is also ideal for children to play safely. Situated on Low Corn Riggs Farm, which boasts a Herd of Pedigree Hereford show cattle, the two cottages overlook the stunning views of Weardale. There is a pub nearby as well as other amenities, home cooked food is available from the farmhouse - just ask us for a menu! The surrounding area offers plenty - cycling or walking whilst enjoying the summertime fauna and flora, bird and wildlife watching in the nearby outdoors, or enjoying some of the historic locations such as Hadrian's Wall or the towns of Beamish, Alston and Durham. Both cottages offer modern conveniences as well as additional facilities for disabled guests, large living rooms, fully fitted kitchens and dining areas which seat up to six. This property offers 3 bedrooms including 1 double room and 2 twin rooms and can sleep up to 6 people. It also has 1 ensuite bathroom and 1 ensuite shower room. No pets This property has been awarded by VisitBritain Mobility Access level 3.
