Coachman's Cottage | A charming 300 year old stone cottage with garden, Coachman's Cottage is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the lush Eden valley and appeals to wildlife enthusiasts, walkers and cyclists (the cottage is a stone's throw from the Pennine Way and the C2C cycle route), and those seeking peace and relaxation.
Alston, the highest market town in Britain, is a 5 minute walk away and offers a good range of shops: chemist, butchers, bakery, Co-Op (open until 10pm), art galleries, cafes, tea rooms and pubs. Nearby there is golfing and fishing, a little further north is Roman Wall country and to the south, the Lake District.
This charming, 300 year old stone cottage is fully double-glazed and centrally heated throughout. It offers 1 twin attic room with small ensuite bathroom,( very small bath and shower attachment) 1 king size double bedroom with ensuite bathroom complete with roll top bath and over bath shower, beamed sitting room with log fire, fully equipped kitchen/diner.
