 | Our two holiday cottages, Taw and Torridge, have been converted from the old shippon.
Taw is the smaller of the two looking onto the fields. It is very open plan, light and airy with a small south facing patio to sit and relax or just enjoy the view.
Torridge has a downstairs bedroom which is suitable for those with walking difficulties or those who use a wheelchair. It has an en-suite shower/wet room and a door out onto the south-facing patio. The lounge also has a ramp from the patio doors to the patio. The second bedroom also has an en-suite shower room.
Good food and arts centre (brochure available) within walking distance. Ideal for exploring the North Devon coast, Exmoor and Dartmoor, and ancient borough of Barnstaple Nearby are also excellent leisure facilities including Golf, Quadbikes, Paintball and Swimming and coarse and sea fishing.

cottages, one with disabled access. Both have central heating, a well equipped kitchen, lounge with sofa bed and tastefully furnished throughout.
Torridge is a Wheelchair Friendly property And offers:- Two bedrooms, upstairs one family room with 1 double bed and single bed with ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, toilet and basin, one downstairs bedroom with king size zip and link bed, please advise when booking if the bed needs to be made up as single beds or kingsize, there is an en-suite wet room, toilet with hand rail and hand basin. This property also offers a double sofa bed in the lounge there is an open plan kitchen/diner there is a South facing patio garden with garden furniture Cot also available on request. Parking is just outside near the front entrance. |
