Guests are offered the chance to go on an ?Ex More Adventure experiencing a variety of activities; a two hour horse trek or a Landrover Safari through the Exmoor woodlands.Water lovers can have a go at Coasteering, a combination of walking, climbing and swimming or learn to scuba dive. Get a closer look at the beautiful Wimbleball Lake in Exmoor from a canoe or sailing dinghy. For a more relaxing time spend the day fly-fishing from the bank, or a boat, with a fully qualified instructor or enjoy a half day sea fishing.Butlins Minehead boasts the world?s largest aerial trekking course, High Ropes, where the bravest guests can have a go at abseiling, climbing or challenge themselves on the Leap of Faith. For those less daring there is a low level rope course to build confidence before having a go at climbing the 83ft high wall or walking Jacob?s Ladder. |  | By roadHeading north the simplest route is to take the M5 to Taunton (Junction 25), then take the A358 and A39 to Minehead. Heading south on the M5, you can follow the signposts for the A39 from junction 24. You can?t miss us, we?re just half a mile along the seafront road from Minehead town centre. By train or railIf you are travelling by train, the nearest main line station to Minehead is Taunton. A bus transfer service is operated by Southern National between Taunton Station and Minehead. This service is available at an additional cost. On Mondays to Saturdays, theres approximately an hourly service, with the last bus leaving Taunton Railway Station at 10:15 pm. On Sundays and Bank Holidays services run every 2 hours from 9:35 am - 9:35 pm. For general information call Southern National on 01823 272033.
