Surfing on Porthleven Reef Break is for experienced surfers only but provides an interesting spectator sport, along with gig rowing. Nearby places of interest include Penzance, Falmouth, Truro, The Eden Project, St Ives and the Tate Gallery, Newlyn, the Lisard Peninsular, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Minack Theatre and Lands End.
