Redmire is ideal for walkers and families alike. Having been lovingly restored Redmire Farm boasts luxurious furnishings, inglenook and open fireplaces, with exposed beams and stonework. Sitting room with stone feature fireplace (open fire). There is walking direct from the door, with paths weaving through fells or meandering along the banks of the river. Indeed this region invites much exploration, and it is fair to say that one visit will never be enough to see all that there is to see here - from waterfalls thundering down giant gorges to ancient settlements and castle ruins, which add much character to the almost unspoilt landscape.
