Idyllic base for walking, riding, cycling and exploring Dartmoor and surrounding area. Excellent choice of riding stables or bring your own horse. Many local attractions to suit all ages and interests. North and South Coasts both less than 1 hour drive. Tavistock 3 miles with plenty of good pubs and restaurants. 'The Shippen' (40' by 12') sleeps 2/4 and is a self contained wing of owner's farmhouse with a wonderful galleried bedroom and pretty enclosed patio. 'The Barn' (36' by 18') sleeps 6, has an upstairs living room with beautiful views, 3 bedrooms downstairs, and an adjacent garden. PLEASE NOTE: Weekly bookings can be booked online from a Saturday ONLY. Please contact owner for alternative start day. </b> This barn conversion has a large first floor room with kitchen, dining and living area. Downstairs there are three bedrooms (one double room, one with twin beds and one with full size, bunk beds), bathroom and wash room. Pets welcome by arrangement.
