The Way Back is a story inspired by Slavomir Rawicz's acclaimed novel The Long Walk and the courageous escape of seven multi-national prisoners from a Soviet Labour Camp in 1941. It follows their treacherous journey as they battle the elements through Siberia, the Gobi Desert, Tibet, and the Himalayas, in search of safety, refuge and ultimately freedom.
