Two couples with very different outlooks are forced to maintain a deep personal connection in a raucous Bollywood comedy directed by Raj Mehta. Varun Batra (Akshay Kumar) and wife Deepti (Kareena Kapoor Khan) are determined to have children and meticulously time their sexual activity to maximise the possibility of tiny feet pitter-pattering on the floor. Unfortunately, the Batras fail to fall pregnant and they seek advice from Dr Anand Ansari (Adil Hussain), who recommends IVF. When Varun and Deepti return to Dr Ansari's office to learn the outcome of the treatment, they are horrified to discover that there has been a terrible mix-up involving Honey Batra (Diljit Dosanjh) and his wife Monika (Kiara Advani). The husbands have the same surname and their respective sperm has been used to fertilise the wrong egg. The two sets of Batras wouldn't normally move in the same social circles but the couples must maintain close contact as they prepare to welcome their babies into the world.
