Size doesn't matter when your heart is full in director Trevor Hardy's computer-animated adventure of self-empowerment and triumph against adversity. Young mole Mungo Morrison (voiced by Lizzie Waterworth Santo) secretly dreams of becoming a professional footballer but he is too small to make his mark on the pitch and cannot play in bright light. Crestfallen, Mungo resigns himself to a life in his hometown's gold mine alongside his father and friends. Following a mysterious accident, the mine is forced to shutdown and gold-obsessed supervillain The Boss (Ken Stott) attempts to bully the town into selling the mine. Mungo and his neighbours refuse to be intimidated. Thus begins a hare-brained odyssey of self-discovery that finds the young mole playing a key role in the Wild Cup football finals in Russia.
