Notting Hill
The feelgood follow-up to Four Weddings And A Funeral marks its 20th anniversary with Valentine's Day screenings at selected cinemas. Bumbling bookstore owner William Thacker (Hugh Grant) is a dithering though lovable everyman, whose attempts to find the perfect woman are hampered at every turn by his socially dysfunctional flatmate Spike (Rhys Ifans). One day, the world's most famous movie actress, Anna Scott (Julia Roberts), wanders into William's store and gradually into his life. There's an instant attraction but the path to true love is littered with obstacles including Anna's transatlantic boyfriend (a winning cameo from Alec Baldwin).
