Born in 1980 in Whiston, Merseyside, Steve Gerrard joined Liverpool FC Academy at the age of nine and he followed his dream to play for his home team. Over the course of three decades, he won two FA Cups with Liverpool as well as The UEFA Cup, FA Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup and the UEFA Champions League. Only one trophy eluded Gerrard during his time at Anfield, The Premier League, and he is now pursuing a new path as manager of Rangers. Sam Blair's documentary is a feature-length portrait of the sportsman, charting his enduring love affair with his boyhood club including the giddy high of Istanbul 2005 when Liverpool FC beat AC Milan on penalties to be crowned kings of Europe. Screenings on November 15 will include a live satellite transmission of a Q&A with Gerrard.
