Strangeways Here We Come
The residents of Owen Street in Salford including Demi (Michelle Keegan), Lucy (Nina Wadia) and lascivious taxi driver Max (Mark Sheals) join their friend Aaron (Oliver Coopersmith) for a party to mark his great loss. As the alcohol flows, conversation turns to evil loan shark Danny Nolan (Stephen Lord), who controls the estate with an iron fist and doles out beatings to anyone who fails to pay their dues. The neighbours hatch a hare-brained scheme to kill Nolan so they are free of his tyranny. Somehow the residents carry out their loopy plan and they prepare to bury Nolan's body in the communal garden. Nolan's wife Steph (Elaine Cassidy) and her goons arrive unannounced and threaten to expose the cold-blooded murder.
