MFKZ (Mutafukaz)
French comic artist Guillaume "Run" Renard joins forces with Japanese filmmaker Shojiro Nishimi to co-direct a dark and twisted animation fantasy, which draws inspiration from film noir, video games and anime. Angelino (voiced by Tay Lee) and his skull-and-flame buddy Vinz (Mark Ryan Haltom) live in a dystopian metropolis scarred by drugs, homelessness, gang warfare and corruption. Despair festers behind closed doors and Angelino is resigned to a grim fate in his cockroach-ridden tenement. One afternoon, as he tours the city on his scooter, Angelino takes his eyes off the road to stare at Luna (Brita Hong) and he is involved in a serious road accident. Soon after, Angelino experiences migraines and hallucinations. These visions reveal that he is part-human and part-Macho, a race of aliens intent on taking over planet Earth.
