I Can Only Imagine
Andrew and Jon Erwin direct this Christian faith drama based on the song of the same title by the band MercyMe. Bart Millard (Brody Rose) has a difficult relationship with his father Arthur (Dennis Quaid) and attempts to impress his old man at high school by joining the American football team. A serious injury puts an end to that dream and Bart signs up for music classes instead where one of the teachers is impressed by his voice. Following graduation, Bart and his father are estranged and Bart seeks his fortune with a band under the guidance of Christian music producer Scott Brickell (Trace Adkins). Bad blood between Bart and his old man haunts the singer and hampers his ability to perform. He resolves to lay the ghosts of the past to rest so he can move on with his life.
