Tiger Zinda Hai
In 2012, Kabir Khan directed Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the fast-paced action thriller Ek Tha Tiger about an elite Indian spy, who falls in love with a Pakistani operative during a top-secret mission in Dublin. The lead actors reunite under the direction of Ali Abbas Zafar for the eagerly anticipated sequel, set eight years after the explosive events of the original film. Avinash Singh Rathore (Khan), codename Tiger, and his lover Zoya (Kaif) are presumed dead but are actually living under the radar, unburdened by the demands of their respective governments. When an international terrorist organisation threatens the safety of thousands of innocent civilians in a foreign land, Tiger and Zoya are drafted back into active service to spearhead a rescue mission with scant chance of success. Girish Karnad, Sudeep and Gavie Chahal co-star.
