Shot during Bestival on the Isle of Wight, director Bryn Higgins' road movie witnesses burgeoning romance and shattered dreams through the eyes of four young people at odds with their parents. Mia (Ella Purnell) is struggling to come to terms with the death of her mother from cancer and she doesn't feel like she can talk to her controlling father Mack (Nigel Lindsay). She seeks solace in alcohol and the company of her good friend, Natalie (Georgie Henley). On the spur of the moment, Mia steals a scooter and heads to a music festival with Natalie riding pillion. The scooter's owner, Leon (Jordan Stephens), chases after her accompanied by his best friend, Heath (Edward Bluemel), a struggling musician who is on probation after a few brushes with the law. They arrive at the festival and discover Heath's reclusive musical idol, Kurtz (Jason Flemyng), is rumoured to be resurfacing at the event for his first live performance in 12 years. Mia, Natalie, Leon and Heath feed off the energy and excitement of the other revellers as they confront their demons and heal deep wounds.
