Raja Krishna Menon directs a Bollywood remake of the acclaimed 2014 US film starring Jon Favreau about a talented chef, who quits his job after a bitter war of words on social media with a food critic. Roshan Kalra (Saif Ali Khan) is a talented chef, who enjoys pushing the boundaries of taste with his daring menus. However, not everyone is a fan of his experimental flavours and after one unfortunate altercation, Roshan turns his back on the world of fine dining. Unsure where to turn, Roshan seeks advice from his ex-wife Radha (Padmapriya Janakiraman) and she suggests that he should rediscover his love for food while bonding with his son (Svar Kamble). So Roshan and his boy refurbish an old food truck and head out on the road to serve fresh and exciting food to eager customers.
