A Change in the Weather
Following his micro-budget Kent Trilogy comprising Low Ride, Late September and Back To The Garden, writer-director Jon Anders ventures to the beating heart of Cathar country for this meditation on marital malaise and regret. Theatre director Dan (Bob Goody) hopes to revive his stagnant marriage to his wife Lydia (Anna Mottram) by inviting a group of performers to the south of France to stage a play about a married couple called Bernard and Elsa. Fiction and reality become painfully blurred as Dan and Lydia impose their fears and insecurities on their fictional alter egos, reopening old wounds as part of the creative process.
