Lost in France
In mid-1990s Glasgow, indie rock band The Delgados formed cult record label Chemikal Underground, which became a catalyst for the rise of Scotland's independent music scene epitomised by Arab Strap, Bis, Franz Ferdinand and Mogwai among others. A chaotic trip to Brittany to stage a concert became a pivotal moment in the musicians' careers and solidified their friendships. Irish documentary filmmaker Niall McCann celebrates this fertile period in Scotland's culture by restaging that iconic French performance and interviewing many of the key personnel on stage and behind the scenes.
