The line between fact and fiction blurs beyond recognition in Robert Greene's riveting documentary thriller, which follows actress Kate Lyn Sheil - who will be familiar to fans of House Of Cards - as she prepares to play Florida news anchor Christine Chubbuck in a biopic. The TV journalist famously committed suicide on air by shooting herself as the cameras rolled on the morning of July 15, 1974. Sheil prepares by investigating Chubbuck's history, her struggles with depression and rumours that she had an unrequited crush on one of her work colleagues. As Sheil uncovers new clues and information, the actress becomes obsessed with capturing every gesture, nuance and internal conflict of her subject, building to the nerve-racking moment that she has to recreate the fatal gunshot.
