The Brother
The past catches up with a young man, who is desperate to sever ties with his family, in writer-director Ryan Bonder's gritty London-set thriller. Adam (Tygh Runyan) used to work alongside his father Jack (Anthony Head) and brother Eli (Jed Rees) until the accidental death of a child on the job convinced him to turn his life around. Now he works in the cloakroom of a prestigious gallery and dreams of exhibiting his own art installations. Adam's redemption also includes a burgeoning romance with a beautiful and deaf ballerina called Claire (Noemie Merlant). Alas, Adam cannot outrun the past forever and Eli eventually gatecrashes his cosy existence along with an alluring temptress called Tabitha (Belinda Stewart-Wilson).
