Miracles from Heaven
Based on the memoir of the same name, Miracles From Heaven is a Christian drama about a little girl, who claims to have talked to God. Ten-year-old Anna Beam (Kylie Rogers) lives in Burleson, Texas with her parents, Kevin (Martin Henderson) and Christy (Jennifer Garner), and two sisters, Abbie (Brighton Sharbino) and Adelynn (Courtney Fansler). The family are active at the local church under Reverend Scott (John Carroll Lynch) and finds great comfort in their faith. Anna falls ill with a severe intestinal condition, which requires her to be feed through tubes. The prognosis is bleak and doctors tell the beams that they should prepare for the worst. Christy refuses to give up and she travels to Boston to meet with a specialist, Dr Nurko (Eugenio Derbez), who might be the little girl's salvation. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, Anna falls into the hollow of a tree and when she emerges from hospital, doctors discover that her condition has gone. Miraculously, Anna claims that after the fall, she travelled to heaven.
