Singham
Rohit Shetty directs this Bollywood remake of the successful 2010 Tamil film Singam, with Prakash Raj reprising his role as the shady businessman, whose dodgy dealings set the entire plot in motion. Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgan) is an honest cop who prefers words to violence to resolve a conflict in his hometown. A visiting city girl, Kavya Bhosle (Kajal Aggarwal), falls madly in love with Bajirao. However, there is bad blood between the lovers' parents and Kavya's father refuses to give his daughter's hand in marriage. Tensions between Bajirao and underworld figure Jaikant Shikre (Prakash Raj) boil over when the cop learns that his nemesis is the mastermind behind a lucrative kidnapping ring. Kavya's young sister becomes embroiled in the feud and Bajirao's puts all of his years of experience to the test to bring Jaikant to justice.
