The Quebec harbour town of Ste.-Marie-La-Mauderne is on the verge of financial ruin. Fishing supplies are dwindling, a death knell to all the local fishermen, and the fortunes of the locals are therefore pinned on the location of a new plastics factory, which would bring desperately needed jobs to the area. Unfortunately, the company foreman will only build the factory in Ste.-Marie-La-Mauderne if the town has its own doctor. At present, it does not. So Germain and the other locals employ all of their powers of persuasion to lure well-regarded big city medic Christopher Lewis to their humble community.Running Time: 108 minutes
