Pather Panchali (U)

Priest and poet Harihar lives in a remote village in Bengal. He is completely obsessed with his writing and pays little attention to the welfare of his family. Harihar's long-suffering wife Sarbojaya is acutely aware of how close the family is to poverty and fears that she may not be able to feed and clothe her children. As the situation worsens, so tensions build within the family.
