Ichi The Killer (18)

Belated release of Takashi Miike's ultraviolent 1991 hit based on Hideo Yamamoto's gruesome manga comic of the same name. When yakuza boss Anjo disappears seemingly into thin air along with 100 million yen, hit man Kakihara launches a one man crusade to locate the underworld kingpin. His search leads him to alluring club hostess Karen and the legend of Ichi - a heavily armoured assassin blessed with magical martial arts skills. Invariably, Kakihara comes face to face with his deadly rival and a sickening bloodbath ensues.
