If you want a day out with a difference, indeed a unique day out, then Diggerland is the perfect choice. Visit one of Diggerland's four adventure parks and you can drive or ride in diggers, dumpers and other constructional machinery.

About Diggerland

Diggerland has four parks across the UK - in Kent, Devon, Durham and Yorkshire. All rides are under strict supervision and depending whether you want to ride or drive, Diggerland has rides for children as young as two years old. Some rides have a minimum height requirement.

Rides in Diggerland

Diggerland has four parks across the UK - in Kent, Devon, Durham and Yorkshire - each with an array of different types of machinery and rides. There are more than a dozen rides - here are just some of them :

  • Spindizzy: a ride in the scoop of a digger controlled by one of the Diggerland staff
  • Dippy Ducks: rescue ducks from a pond using the hook on a JCB
  • Skittles: knock down giant skittles with a ball on a chain from your JCB
  • Train: ride the Diggerland train - pulled round the park by a dumper
  • Land Rover: take a "rough ride" on the Diggerland Land Rover Safari - around the hills and slopes and through the watercourses on the park

Tickets for Diggerland

A standard pre-booked ticket is available for three people with an additional charge for each extra person. Price concessions apply for Senior Citizens.

Diggerland tickets allow an unlimited number of drives and rides on all the real building site diggers and dumpers.

Diggerland can cater for groups, clubs and schools and birthday parties can be arranged.

Getting to Diggerland

The Diggerland parks are in Kent, Devon, Durham and Yorkshire as follows :-

Diggerland Kent

Roman Way, Medway Valley Leisure Park, Strood, Kent ME2 2NU

Directions : Leave M2 at Jct2 - follow A228 towards Rochester. At roundabout turn right into Medway Valley Leisure Park and Diggerland is on the right.

Diggerland Devon

erbeer Manor, Cullompton, Devon EX15 2PE

Directions : Leave M5 at Jct27 and head East on A38 towards Wellington. After approximately 1/2 mile turn right at roundabout onto B3181. Diggerland is on the left-hand side after about 3 miles.

Diggerland Durham

Langley Park, Co. Durham, DH7 9TT

Directions : Leave A1 (M) at Jct62. Head West - follow signs to Consett and after 6 miles turn left at roundabout, (signed to Langley Park), then turn right into Riverside Industrial Estate.

Diggerland Yorkshire

Willowbridge Lane, Whitwood, Castleford, West Yorkshire WF10 5NW

Directions : Leave M62 at Jct31 and take A655 towards Castleford Diggerland half a mile on the left, just before the Jet petrol station.
