The airport is situated on the north coast of the Isle of Barra. It is accessible off the A888, if you take the turning north at Northbay and follow the signs.
Bus
The post bus which collects the mail from the aircraft will transport passengers to Castlebay.
Ferry
Ferry services between the islands are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne http://www.calmac.co.uk/. They also offer a service between the island and mainland Scotland (Oban). |
