Southbank Centre's wide-ranging programme: classical & world music, rock & pop, jazz, dance, literature and the visual arts - attracts the most diverse audience of any UK venue.

Southbank Centre consists of the Royal Festival Hall (reopened after its two-year transformation), the Hayward Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall (containing the Purcell Room), and the Saison Poetry Library. We also manage the Arts Council Collection and organises the National Touring Exhibition programme in venues throughout the UK.

Situated on the south bank of the River Thames next to the popular BA London Eye, Southbank Centre is at the heart of an arts quarter stretching from the Royal National Theatre and National Film Theatre to Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe.

If you're looking for a place to stop for refreshment while visiting Southbank Centre, you're spoilt for choice.

Choose from the popular wagamama noodle bar for fresh and nutritious food, Strada for a superb Italian menu including pizza, the award winning family restaurant Giraffe, or the superb choice offered by cafe EAT.

Alongside the walkway which leads to the Hungerford Bridge, Festival Terrace has several cafes and restaurants including South American restaurant Las Iguanas, and Belgian bakery Le Pain Quotidien .They are joined by Caffè Vergnano 1882, Feng Sushi and dim sum restaurant Ping Pong.

You can also get coffee, sandwiches and cakes from the Cafe in the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer.

Within the Royal Festival Hall, Skylon offers a range of cocktails and an extensive wine list, as well as a modern British menu in stylish surroundings. There's also the Riverside Terrace Café on Level 2 of the Royal Festival Hall, and the award-winning restaurant Canteen, located on the relandscaped Southbank Centre Square which offers an all-day dining menu of high quality British food at reasonable prices in a modern well-designed environment. Enjoy an eclectic range of food and drink throughout the day and night at Concrete, the new bar and cafe located in the Hayward Gallery, accompanied by a rotating programme of contemporary video works.

WiFi is available at all the retail units along Festival Riverside (provider: The Cloud) and is payable.

Southbank Centre has two car parks, operated on our behalf by Apcoa Parking UK:

* Southbank Centre Car Park - Belvedere Road (7am - 1am daily)
* Southbank Centre Car Park - Hayward Gallery (7am - 1am daily)

A pay-on-foot parking system is in use in both car parks.

A special parking fee of £8.00 is available when you park between 5pm and 1am each day and all day on public Bank Holidays.

The special parking fee of £8.00 is available to patrons attending a daytime, paid ticketed event at Southbank Centre (Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery) who present their performance ticket, together with their car park ticket at a Southbank Centre Ticket Office for validation.

Visitors with Disability

A limited number of free spaces are available on a strictly first-come-first-served basis to patrons who have a Blue Badge and are attending a paid, ticketed event at Southbank Centre. They should present their Blue Badge, performance ticket and car park ticket at a Southbank Centre Ticket Office or at the Queen Elizabeth Hall Artists' Entrance adjacent to the Hayward Gallery car park for validation.
Motorbike and Cycle Parking

There are designated motorbike bays inside Southbank Centre Car Park - Hayward Gallery, and bicycle racks on Belvedere Road by the Royal Festival Hall and Festival Riverside.

Southbank Centre welcomes children and families throughout the year and provides world-class facilities to make your visit an enjoyable one. The site is fully accessible to pushchairs and wheelchair users.
