Memorial Stadium | "Sports ground in Bristol, dedicated to the memory of the rugby players of the city killed during the Great War. The Memorial Ground was opened by the Lord Mayor of Bristol as a home for Bristol Rugby Club in 1921.
The Ground is on Filton Avenue in Horfield in Bristol, and has developed significantly over the years. A massive crowd watched the first ever game to be held there against Cardiff, but did so from wooden terraces and stands.
