Chickenshed Theatre

Chickenshed Theatre,London Information
Chickenshed can be different things to different people.

For many it's a local theatre showing original and entertaining productions for young children, families and adults that showcase talent, as well as work, inspired by the people around us, about personal and social issues that affect society today.

For some it's a place where they spend 2-3 years of their life improving their education, perhaps completing a BTEC or Diploma in Performance Art or Theatre Management.

For a few, it's an Arts Centre, where they can enjoy Jazz or Comedy evenings, or indulge a new hobby - perhaps joining our Community Chorus or taking part in our incredibly popular adult theatre workshops.

For others it's a community hub, a place to meet friends and enjoy a coffee, light lunch or early evening meal. There's also an opportunity to make new friends and become a volunteer - front of house, behind the scenes or as part of our general or administrative team.

For numerous indivduals and families, it is a mix of many of the above.
We are also a registered charity and rely heavily on the generous support of individuals, companies, trusts and foundations in order to continue our pioneering work. There are many different ways you can support us, from one-off donations to taking part in challenge events or partnering Chickenshed through your business or organisation - everything helps.
