Hoxton Hall Theatre | Hoxton Hall was built in 1863 as a saloon-style music hall and played host to a wide range of variety colourful performers during the late 1800’s. The building is currently owned by the London & Middlesex Quakers Trust and managed by Hoxton Hall, a registered charity. Hoxton Hall is a Grade II* listed building, which puts it in the top 4% of listed buildings in the country. Many of the original features remain including the wrought iron-work on the balconies.
Today, Hoxton Hall is a professional presenting and producing multi-arts venue and is at the fore-front of cutting-edge theatre, dance, music, film, cabaret, new media and visual arts. Our programme of events is designed to present work that is exciting, challenging and innovative. We aim to encourage emerging artists from the local, national and international community. |
