Dating from before medieval times, this historic house boasts a pre-medieval kitchen. Rebuilt mainly in the 16th century, the present gabled building stands facing the 14th-century tower, and a wheelhouse. A proud collection of traditional gardens includes a white garden, a rose-garden with older varieties, ancient wisterias, a kitchen garden and a brick maze.
