Off the M1 at Junction 30, Renishaw Hall is situated on the A6135 between Eckington and Renishaw and only 6 miles from both Sheffield and Chesterfield.
The Museum of Sitwell Memorabilia gives an insight into the creative lives of Edith, Osbert and Sacheverell Sitwell. Throughout the 1920's they were at the forefront of the artistic new -wave, introducing to Britain such artists as Picasso and Matisse. Literature and the theatre also drew upon their talents throughout their lives.
The John Piper gallery displays some of Pipers finest Works. His Pictures combined the mood of the time with architectural delicacy.
The Costume Gallery holds a collection of elegant dresses and uniforms, giving an insight to life at Renishaw hall over the years.
The recently restored 'Orangery' houses' The National Collection of Yuccas', a collection of rare plants from the Arizona dessert region. The 'Orangery' overlooks the site of the old kitchen gardens, now a nature reserve, and is circled by Lady Ida's Walk.
The Performing Art gallery displays records of some of the most famous films, music, plays, opera and ballet of the 20th century. The exhibition holds costumes from such famous persons as Marie Callas, Antoinette Sibley, Rolling Stones and Mick Jagger. Also Photographs of many of the stars themselves.
Renishaw Hall Charity Shop. A shop available during the season for local and National charities and community groups to use free of charge, either to raise awareness and or raise vital funds for there group.
Renishaw Hall Artists Room, a room set aside for up and coming artist to use free of charge to enable them to show there pictures and other works of art.
