Opened in 1976, the National Theatre forms part of the arts centre on the South Bank, and is home to the National Theatre Company. With three theatres (Lyttelton, Olivier, & Cottesloe) in the one complex the Company is able to offer a diverse repertoire whilst not compromising its standards of excellence.
