Bob Hope Theatre, The
The Bob Hope Theatre is a non-professional community theatre group and a registered charity. It was founded as
Eltham Little Theatre in 1943 and is administered by a Board of Management elected by members at
Annual General Meeting. The Theatre usually stages nine or ten shows a year and is also available for hire by other organisations. Auditions are open to all and we encourage memebrs to get involved in all aspects of theatre, both on and off stage.
Membership is open to anyone on payment of the annual membership fee (currently £25 for adult members; £15 for junior members).
There is an active junior membership (under 18) which includes The New Stagers, an acting section
within the 11 to 16 age bracket.

No car parking facilities at the Theatre, however there is ample parking in the surrounding area.
Children welcome. Check content of production if in doubt. Very occasionally a play may be unsuitable for children.
Disabled toilet facilities available. People travelling in wheelchairs who are unable to transfer to a seat should call the Box Office (020 8850 3702) to ensure that spaces are available.

Ticket prices for BHT productions start at around £8 for plays and around £12 for musicals. Visiting productions set their own ticket prices. Check our website for details.
