Civic, The
The eagerly anticipated launch of The Civic is now a step closer, with the introduction of a vibrant and dynamic arts programme, bringing contemporary performance and arts to the Assembly Room, the Exhibition Gallery and the newly landscaped Mandela Gardens designed to support outdoor performances. This first season celebrates the very best of local, regional, national and international talent. Performances of the highest quality have been selected to bring together a diverse programme, through an eclectic and exciting mix of disciplines. Younger audiences have not been forgotten with a regular series of performances aimed at families and young people, many of which involve audience participation and interaction.
